1978 parts on a '64

Ive got a '64 lwb with a locked up 283. Im about to buy a 1978 lwb for a parts truck, it has a good running 350, good wheels & tires. Beat up old work truck but mechanically good. Is there anything else that i can use on my '64 that might be interchangeable like front disk brakes & power steering? Thanks..

Yup, whole front cross member hub to hub. MC, Booster, prop valve, power steering will need a mounting bracket. ( Capt Fab.) rear axle is wider but will work with some TLC.

It's incredible how universal GM kept their vehicles over the years. There are many threads and resources on this topic if you search around and read til your eyes hurt.
