Suburban 1979 and 2000

Hello

I am from germany and got the link to you from a very cool user of "dodge-forum.eu".

I live in thuringia - the middle of germany, 2 Kiddos, 2 pets ... tons of
old computers and old tires in the garden ^^

Driving a Suburban 2000 for 4 years and a "new" Suburban from 1979 ...
the last one since a few days only ...

Most of my work is graphic design and looking for some interesting stuff
regarding my both Suburbans / and our trouble-free dodge grand caravan.

Whenever I have found a new interesting thing I was wondering like
"never possible to learn it" - but I got it - sooner or later

But I assume with the technical specs of my Suburbans I will spend more than a lot of time ...

Very interesting sites u have! Thumps up!

Re: Suburban 1979 and 2000

Hi Stephan
Thanks for the note. What got you interested in these old trucks! I would have to guess that it can be difficult to find parts. Its probably easier than I think . Welcome and thanks for visiting the site.

John

Smile Re: Suburban 1979 and 2000

the reason was/is the time i lived a few weeks near NYC in 2001.
when I visited some friends they had trucks like the Ford Expediton and Chevy Suburban - and they all put stroller in the cars - but not collapsed/folded ...

Very big and useful cars - and nicer than the trucks/suvs we have in Germany.

And the car-technic from my 1st 2000 Suburban is easier to learn than "Audi Kuh(q)7 Technic".

Surely, some work has to be fixed by professionells - but
I could do most of the work by myself ...
