1983 C10 build
Found this rust free, VERY straight, '83 short bed locally
![]() 63K miles, straight six, 3 spd. Planning on a 4 1/2"-6" drop and installing a 420HP small block, 20's, T350, etc. Got the front suspension done ![]() and it's off to paint to get the firewall and floor jammed ![]() bed is super straight- not even a dent in the headboard ![]() can wait until it comes back to start getting the mountain of parts bolted into this thing |

Re: 1983 C10 build
Nice buy on the truck, guess being a 6 cyl it was mostly left alone, works out great for you, sounds like a good plan already in the works, keep us posted.
Mudman.

Re: 1983 C10 build
Thanks, but they're not showing up on their site. Maybe it's a temporary shortage or something. I haven't been able to find any non-tubular C10 lower arms anywhere. I even posted a thread in the suspension section looking for them, but nothing so far.

Re: 1983 C10 build
Got the grille and headlight doors in from LMC today and they look fantastic! LMC now has the "GM Licensed" 1985-1987 single headlight grilles in stock (With the bowtie emblem bed in them). LMC PN 38-4158
