1961 headlight help
Where can I find the mounting bucket for a headlight? I found a full set of 4 and trim rings but I only need one on the drivers side. Anyone that can help with info or got one they want to part with. Thanks for ant info

Re: 1961 headlight help
I thought I had saved the day until I saw the part you actually need. The repro outlets I frequent don't seem to have them in singles. There were a couple that had a set of four and the cheapest was about $75.

Re: 1961 headlight help
Yes that's what I keep running into. I am sure there are some possibly from other cars that will work but I can't find any info on them.

Re: 1961 headlight help
I would guess anything that had two of the smaller headlights up front. GM wasn't one for using one off parts in their vehicles back then.
Maybe one of these? https://www.summitracing.com/parts/o...4FoaAp0u8P8HAQ Scratch that. Looks like another wrong one. Found a pair on ebay for just under $50. http://www.ebay.com/itm/OE-1958-1972...-/391527516875 Even better... four for 40 or best offer. Two of them look a bit odd but the other two look right. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1964-1965-19...pXqd7U&vxp=mtr Last edited by Tazimafied; 08-10-2016 at 11:54 PM. |
