Made a huge step forward on the 66 build
I cannot find my old thread. This is a truck I am building for my mother who is a recent cancer survivor and my father who just retired again.
My brother came over today and we got the cab mounted. I was worried about the 4L80e fitting with a low hump trans tunnel. I have the motor so far forward that it created a HUGE gap at the firewall. I need to move this damn motor back but I'm worried I will have fitment issues. The front of the motor just clears the rack and pinion lines so moving it back will help with that, too. The cab actually sat just on top of the trans until we installed the new poly cab bushings. The final color will be 2014 Porsche White. So anyway, the motor is finally in and the cab is finally on! Moser 12 bolt setup Boyd EFI tank installed and all of the crossmembers in.
