1973 body build as a 1972?

lol, so who is right, the really smart people or this CL seller?

"I have had some real smart people say this is not a 72, well , come put your money where your mouth is. The cab , vin and title say 1972 , the fenders are another year, so is the bed , so it is a 72 custom. I guess since you title from the vin and title , it must be a 72 . lol 1972 Chevrolet no rust 468 BBC dome pistons less than 1500 miles. 410 gear automatic with Stahl . inside nice. Built in 72 maybe but definatly a 73 model year.

He is trying to sell something that is not, for the price (in his mind) that it's not worth, hence no asking price or no OBO. And it appears that it's not in running condition either, lol, "will consider selling rolling or running".

Isn't Shelbyville the town across the tracks from Springfield in the simpsons?
I had a 74 C20 Cheyenne Super Suburban titled as a 73 once, BFD.

I guess that makes my 67 a 66 then since it was built in aug of 66 and most of the parts are date coded 66.
cant believe i was wrong all this time.

Better change my sig and where i hang.

Its a shame he even mentioned "smart people".
