Hello and pic of my new burb
Hey guys! I'm new here and to 67-72's. I have owned a couple 73-87's, but I like the older style better. Here's my new baby:
402/TH400/dana 60. It even has the factory roof air! First thing I am going to do is ditch those big towing mirrors and get some new wheels for it. What do you guys think? |

Very nice, looks just like my '72! Do you have any interior shots or shots from the side? Does it have the tailgate or barn doors (it's hard to tell from the pic)? Welcome to the board (and the obsession).

Very nice!! I like it! I would move the mud flaps to directly behind the rear tires, so the can protect the rear quarters.

is that restored or original or fresh paint or what. it looks awesome! what is that underdash gauge?
http://www.billetspecialties.com/pro...cid=16&scid=23 or http://www.billetwheel.com/Wheels/34ton/34ton.html for wheels. it is a 3/4 ton right? those wheels would dramatically improve the look of ur burb.

dinnut,
The paint is new. The guy I bought it from did the paint with his brother last year. There are some problems and you can tell it wasn't a "professional" job, but overall I think they did a great job. The under dash guage is an aftermarket temp guage. I'm not sure why the previous owner put that on there. Maybe because it has numbers and he wanted a more precise reading? I'm going to take that out and go back to the stock temp guage. Thanks for the wheel suggestions. Yes it is a 3/4 ton. I have already removed the steps and the mud flaps, and it looks much better now, but it does need some nice chrome wheels and new tires. I just have to convince my wife of that. Jose, I'll snap you a picture of emblem on the barn door when I get a chance. |
