AC bracket

Hey guys. Quick question. Swapping my 383 from the 69 into 80. The 69 didn't have AC so it wasn't in the way. My 80 has factory air on the 305 and I would love to keep it. My 383 has tall valve covers and it gets in the way of mounting the rear AC bracket to the drivers side of the manifold. I did a quick search on here and on google and found solutions for ls swaps and big blocks but nothing on the small block. Any suggestions?

Re: AC bracket

You have a good excuse to go with a serpentine setup.

Re: AC bracket

I'm all for that. Does someone make a kit that I can use the factory AC compressor, AC hoses, alternator, etc?

Re: AC bracket

GMPP kit at Jeg's: LINK. A little pricey and you'll have to get AC lines made, or you can save some coin and get it all at the junkyard, but you'll still have to get AC lines made.
