Light Red?
My 70 that I have in my shop now says on the SPID light red. I was thinking about Victory red like off the later model trucks but it is way different of a red than what is there. I looks almost Hugger Orange. Can someone show me a lt red truck compared to a orange and a real red[victory]Thanks

Re: Light Red?
The light red on these trucks looks more hugger orange, until you put it next to a hugger orange truck then you can see the red in it. 514 is the light red, which I agree looks like it has some orange to it. 524 is hugger orange.

Re: Light Red?
fwiw, I really like victory red, it pops! My truck is a 514 light red, if it were all original I would have a strong inclination to keep it that way but, mine is a parts/pieces truck which allows me the freedom to do as I wish. I'm going with victory red with a white top. Pic is a 40 Ford in victory red with grey primer. I'm thinking a lighter primer might even be brighter? Wonder what color the factory primer is?
