Arm rest fastener
Can some one tell me what type fastener holds the arm rest on the door panel on my 68 Chevy? I've tried a Phillips screw driver and can't seem to find the head of the fastener. Hex head by chance?

Re: Arm rest fastener
That's the one I tried, couldn't find the head of the screw with it, bad thing is it's on a truck that I can't get the door open enough to look in the cavity of the rest. I'll keep trying. Thanks

Re: Arm rest fastener
Good idea on the flashlite/mirror Long Box. I'll give that a try.

Re: Arm rest fastener
Update, used the lite/mirror trick and found hex head screws in there. They look like 5/16 hex and of course I brought 3/8 and 7/16 so I'll go back tomorrow and snag the thing. Thanks all.

Re: Arm rest fastener
Some of the foam may be in the way. Have to kind of pry it aside with the phillips. Mine are a PITA.
