66 C10 bags and parallel 4 link hate panhard bar
Hello everyone, Im in need of some help. I posted once before with very little responce. So I am setting up my 66 fleet side short bed with my first bag set up and super stoked.
I received my Accuair kit and I already have a parallel four link (KP Components) and a cantilever set up (also KP Components) both mount out side the frame rails. I want this all to look and operate cleanly. I am a very symmetrical person and don't like the idea of a pan hard bar and want to try and use the center portion of a triangulated four link were it goes from the top of the diff housing to the inside of the frame witch I also already have (I guess you could call it a 6 link). I have thought about the watts linkage but already have all the stuff to do this. Does anybody have any experience with this? I am a little concerned of binding and or travel restriction issues. Is this a bad idea or do you think this can work? Please let me know what you have experienced or think don't hold back you can't hurt my feelings.Thank so much for reading. THANKS everyone |

Re: 66 C10 bags and parallel 4 link hate panhard bar
Here's a link on our forum. Looks like the cross member behind the rear end had to be removed: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=348913
But on post #9 here looks like someone did it keeping the cross member: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=238020 But if you build or buy a radical kick up I guess it wouldn't matter. Why not try a triangulated 4 link? http://toomuchhorsepower.com/c10-4-l...-installation/ http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=598905
