Blazer Top Help
Hey guys I am working on my Double Wall Top trying to get ready for the cold months in Georgia . I have purchased new seals for the top to bed and the top to windshield and was wondering if anyone here has done this and could give me some advice. I would like to see some pics. Any help would be nice..Thanks

Re: Blazer Top Help
Use 3M Black Weatherstripping Adhesive. Apply it to both mating surfaces (rubber and fiberglass) and allow it to get really tacky/almost dry to the touch. Then it will grab really good. I suggest test fitting the rubber before using any adhesive so you know exactly where it needs to be located. Also, be very careful not to stretch the rubber as you are installing it. This will lead to the rubber being way out of position, and appearing to be too long when you are left with several inches of extra length.

Re: Blazer Top Help
I have no personal experience on the top seals .. bought the Blazer 4/5 yrs ago, took the top off and haven't put it back on yet. Just drive it when the weather's nice. Hated to see your question with 0 replies. I clicked on the SEARCH.... ADVANCED and used "top weatherstrip" for a key word in the Blazer/Jimmy section. Looks like lots of threads about this subject, some w/pictures. If you play with the key words .. top deals, window seal.... there's good info there.
