WTB: Looking for a sbc power steering pump

Will be getting a 67 soon and plan on pulling the 6 to install a sbc. Also plan on installing power steering. Have a line on a local box but need a pump with brackets. May also be looking for engine pulleys as well.

Please post pics & price including shipping to 08753.

Thanks
Scott

Re: WTB: Looking for a sbc power steering pump

I have a P/S pump with brackets from SBC but not sure of year of application. Used pump, seems good, pulley is straight, brackets good. Can dig it out of the parts shed and get some pics if interested. $25 plus shipping.

Re: WTB: Looking for a sbc power steering pump

ScottH, found the pump and took a couple pics. Pump is a bit dirty and needs cleaning but good condition, came from a running 350. Double groove key way pulley, stamped 3941107 DE, which shows used on early to mid 70's. Both mount brackets included, if wanting the pulley add $10 for total of $35 plus shipping or just $25 plus ship for the pump. May fit in a medium Priority fixed rate box, not sure.

Re: WTB: Looking for a sbc power steering pump

I have one that I ran on my 71 blazer I think I removed it from the same vintage van bolts to the front of the block and the motor mount. I can get pictures if interested 50 plus shipping and it has both hoses. Working when I removed it but has been sitting for about 10 years.

Re: WTB: Looking for a sbc power steering pump

Sorry guys, I bought a truck over the weekend & it had a bunch of parts with it including 2 PS pumps. I need to look them over to c if I can use either. Will post if I need a pump or not shortly.

Yes, I do. Just ran across it in the parts stash the other day while looking for something.

Re: WTB: Looking for a sbc power steering pump

Will you see if it fits in the medium flat rate box? They are 11 x 8 1/2 x 5 1/2.

I'm checking to make sure it will work on my truck. I've got a 292 and I am buying a new bracket set that calls for a Saginaw Type I power steering pump and a double pulley.

Just checked and YES it will fit in the medium flat rate box. Removed the pulley and brackets, pump angled laying on its side. Will provide sufficient packing to insure no movement during shipping. Flat rate is $13.60 plus $35.00 for pump and pulley, total to your door $48.60, money order, do not have Paypal.

As mentioned, pump and pulley came from a running sbc 350, no issues for operation for of either pump or pulley. LMK and thanks for the interest.

Re: WTB: Looking for a sbc power steering pump

does it have fluid in it? Don't want all the seals to be dried out.

Re: WTB: Looking for a sbc power steering pump

Does not have fluid in it now, did until recently when I took it to a swap meet. Didn't want to deal with the mess if it fell over. Does not appear "wet" inside but no dust in it either, LOL Pulley and brackets are most of the value but the pump is included in the $$. LMK, thanks.

Re: WTB: Looking for a sbc power steering pump

OK, we'll give it a try. Ironically, I don't need the brackets. It's for a short water pump?

Please PM me your address for paypal.

Thanks!
