fuel cell fittings
Anyone running the Summit 16 gallon fuel cell, what fittings did you use? I know I'll need 1 plug for one of the -8 AN pickups. What size line did you run up to the front? What fittings would you suggest for quality, but cheapest (Earls, Aeroquip?) Also, wher did you guys run your vent line to? I wanna order and install them this week.
Thanks

I can't really tell you what fittings you should need because you may route it different than me but you can use -6 or -8 line. Earl's fittings are the cheapest and the quality is every bit as good as the others. (I have used them all) As far as the vent line, you can just run a piece of line up to the crossmember above the axle and hold it in place with a simple line clamp. let me know if want more info I have plumbed alot of vehicles over the years.

Thanks. Summit has some braided line but come in fractional inch measurements. Is there some type of conversion for say 3/8" to x-AN?

Can't really tell what they are going to claim but typically -6 is 3/8 and -8 is 1/2 inch.
