2/4 cheap drop ? Post pics
Just got a 68 lwb this Saturday , it has drums and i don't want to change them yet and with buying the truck for 3500 i need to save up money for a while for a 4/6 drop , wheels and tires , and discs up front . Do I need to put different shocks with a 2/4 and a new track bar or will I be ok ? I was also thinking of cutting one coil out front and using TJ springs out back that I have laying in the shed .

Yep that's what I did 1 coil up front and the TJ springs out back , I did notice it was a bit springy/boucny in the back. I made shock relocaters to make them stand more upright ,made a world of difference in ride . if you look/search here you will find how to relocate shock brackets .Look down in the FAQ down at the bottom of forum.

That's what I did was going to replace them with shorter ones but they ride just fine and don't bottom out. I have ran them this way for a couple years now

Sweet , then when I want it lower I can just buy dropped spindles for the front and 2in blocks out back with a adjustable track bar
