Yikes!

My old longhorn is down for the season, while i work on rear suspension. The exhaust was unbolted & stood against the wall......well, we all have to" Lite" them with open corks. Well, there is a crazy "angel" that rides on the crazy old man's shoulder! That 383 was warming up @ a fast idle, & i noticed something dripping on the floor....GAS! The fuel pump is under the cab, about 2 ft from the "fireballs" ,when the headers are open well, you can probably guess that I "chilled" it d@mn quick the fire stayed in the eng & pipes, but the tank & all is out of the truck! Dammit, I keep saying 1 thing at a time.....but this one is going fuel cell before next season! anybody in Ill , or close need a good tank? crazyL

Glad that drip didn't turn into an inferno!

At least you now have a good excuse for a fuel cell
