1971 Chevy wiring problem HELP!!

I have a 1971 chevy 4x4. I just installed the new wiring harness from American auto wire. Great kit easy to install love it!! Here is the problem. Everything works great except when I turn the head lights on the front signal lights don't work right. They work fine with the head lights off. With the headlights on both front turn signals stay on but the side markers and the tail lights signal fine.. The dash turn signal indicators also stay on but do blink when signaling
Weird thing is the same thing was going on before I rewired the whole thing. The only thing I did not replace is the signaling wiring and circuit in the steering colomn. Could this be it?

Ground wires are usually the gremlins that cause headaches like this, check your bulbs up front, ground wires to all turn signals and marker lights and dash ground....Good luck.

Mine did the exact same thing. It was all related to grounding issues. Had to start with the grille lights (would be bumper lights in your case) then went on to the rear bed and tail lights. Once I got all the grounds right, they all worked as they should.
