Spicer Locking HUb Rebuild Kits (Blue)

Our 70 GMC K2500 has the blue Spicer locking hubs. (Dana 44-5F, NOT the HD)

350/465/205/44/60

We are looking for a rebuild kit with new O-Rings, shims, seals, gaskets for the locking hub assembly only (already have done the wheel bearings and such).

Looking for a kit or need to know if I just locate new O-rings individually and use Permatex black in place of gaskets.

I have searched this forum, Summit, LMC, Unlimited Truck, NAPA, 4WheelParts, O'Reilly and no one has anything except to tell me to go buy new Warn hubs.

Any suggestions or alternatives?

Re: Spicer Locking HUb Rebuild Kits (Blue)

Quad 4x4 in Billings, MT has the steel gaskets (shims), and the paper gaskets. they also have the flat washers for the allen bolts & may have the allen bolts too (can't remember). Also some good tech notes on the hubs. I don't know of anyone who makes the seal but GMCgrimm ( on this forum, may not be spelled correctly) was making dials & I read on one thread that he may have found a seal that is not exact but will work

Thanks B. W.! That's the stuff I'm looking for! I will check both of those sources.
