Got new rims and tires this week !!!

Blue Baby got some new rims and tires this week. I got the rims used last week from a guy that bought a late model Suburban with these rims on it. He didn't like them, me either....on a late model Suburban. But for my old work truck...I love the old Torq Thrust look !!! I have been looking for 6 bolt rims for a long time now and as you know, they are hard to find. Ordered some new tires last week, had them mounted this week and finished putting them on tonight.

Looks good, I really like the utility bed, but I also work for a public utility so I am biased. I would love to have that truck at work!

I don't have the physics chops to back this up; but from riding bicycles I think every tiny amount you reduce the weight of the wheels makes it much easier to pedal the bike; so from that experience I would guess your new wheels should pay for themselves many times over in better gas mileage.

None of my bizness but does the wife know you are now cruising to work every day in a rolling chick magnet? Next time you see a pretty gal walking, you can put in in neutral and gun the motor a couple times. Like "vroom vroom" - see if she smiles.

My truck still has too many dents; lady will just roll her eyes and maybe flip the bird when I try it.
