Engine decode help please (6 cyl)
I'm not sure it's actually a 60-66 but it came out of my 63 C-10
Stamped under distributor: FO718CJH Cast behind right motor mount: 348675 (that "6" could be a "8" but I'm pretty sure it's "6") and behind that: CON2 G124 I've searched "engine decoder" on this site and looked at threads for about an hour now, but I can't find these numbers anywhere. Thanks in advance.

Not that I'm any kind of expert, but from the distributor, coil, lifting bracket, dual belt pulleys, rubber oil cap, color, I'd say that's a later model 250.
Does it have an EGR valve? Does it run?

"Ran when parked" I haven't tried to start it.
But, it does turn over freely.

Yep, EGR valve. Late 70's- '84 model. Cooling system not maintained very well from the look of the water pump openings.

That's either a 230 or 250. Fastest way to tell would be to pull a plug and look at the piston. D dish for a 250 and flat top for a 230.
