1972 c10 clutch pedal push rod question

I am looking for pictures of the stock location of the push rod. Mine was a factory 4sp but I don't understand where the rod penetrates the firewall. Also, what did you use for a master? Thanks for your time.

oval shaped hole below the master and to the left...automatic cabs came with the hole and had a cover plate bolted over it....did someone weld yours up?

here is a picture of mine. Used to be a 6 cyl that is why my clutch rod is streight.
