Guys i have ran into a problem on my 71 K10... I have finally stuffed in the motor and tranny into the truck, but the exhaust manifolds are in the way of the clutch linkage... I was trying to come up with a solution for this, but i have scratched my head bald.... one thing i have come up with, was a newer style bell housing with the Hydraulic clutch built in, another one is modify the linkage to work around the stock exhaust manifolds, or just get some aftermarket headers, which i am not a real fan of headers.... can any of you guys give me some feed back, if you have or have not run into this situation? I ran into the same problem..I think there are different styles of factory manifolds that might work..look at camaro.trailblazer ss and such..I've seen some people cut off the flange and weld it back on at a different angle to clear..I used headers but that was a nightmare all in itself..

Thanks for the info, i just looked them up, looks like the Vette stock exhaust manifolds dump out the middle, that should work just fine... Thanks again....
