Cold Air intake

Has anyone run a cold air intake on a stock truck with a SBC and Carb? If so, how did you do it and any pics? I'm wanting to add one to my 65 Sub
Thanks

Re: Cold Air intake

Thanks MusicMan
I like the idea, but I still have my heater box attached(originality factor). I guess I could run some ducting to the core support and cut a hole in that for the air?

Re: Cold Air intake

That would work too.
Also run the intakes below the bumper line, like the Oldsmobile W Series 442's or, on the top side of the core support like the 5.0 Camaro's.

Re: Cold Air intake

I have a '61 and have thought of pulling cold air from hood "eyes" and these dual snorkel air cleaners would be perfect. I may have to attache the top of the cleaner and the tubing to the hood and have the air cleaner base with a gasket to receive.
