Found my dads 1972 burban after 20 years.
Finally able to track down my dads old suburban he sold over 20 years ago. Was able to get it back to my dad for his birthday today what a great feeling. Burban is exactly how it was when I was a kid.

Cool story.
We are all about the trucks. More information on the Suburban? More pictures? SPID?

Hey guys here is some more pictures of the burb'. Looking at a possible 4/6 drop thru ECE. Looking for possible wheel and tire combos any suggestions?

Re: Found my dads 1972 burban after 20 years.
the story behind the burb my dad had started an automotive shop 20 years ago. My dad endend up selling it to make ends meet and has wanted it back ever since. This was the last truck my grandpa road in before he passed. Now 20 years later the shop is doing amazing and we got a little bit of our missing family back. Here is a picture with three generations.

Awesome story, I really like how the suburban seems to be a family oriented vehicle. I get inspired every time my almost 4 year old asks me if we can go get ice cream in the green truck yet

Congrats guys!!!
Always cool to see more Burbs on the road in the Rogue Valley!!! That looks familiar. Was it down by the old Eads storage facility in Medford for awhile?

Wow looks in great shape. Post a pic of the SPID on the glove box door. Looks pretty rust free, far from what I'm working with

Re: Found my dads 1972 burban after 20 years.
Don't lower it.
It has G60 auxiliary overload springs. With the 3.73, It's set up to tow.

Re: Found my dads 1972 burban after 20 years.
Why wouldn't you lower it I understand it's setup for towing but would be ok with a 4/6 drop?

Not sure but I don't think the overload springs will work with a drop.... LockDoc
