Opinions on pin stripe colors please
So my truck is almost ready for paint and I'm still struggling on color for the pinstripe. I am using the gray on the left and blue on the top of this picture. The pinstripe is actually a dark blue and orange but I think they look a little too black and red. I like the look but I'm concerned they stand out a bit too much. Any opinions? Thanks

Re: Opinions on pin stripe colors please
I like the dark blue and orange idea, but that does look black and red. It is way too bold and overpowers the paint. I don't know if you can find that stripe with lighter shades or not.

Re: Opinions on pin stripe colors please
I think I agree, the colors are being painted not taped so I can pick any color I want. Maybe I'll stick to the matching light blue and use the orange as the accent in the stripe

A "real" Orange looks really good with blue.

Re: Opinions on pin stripe colors please
After staring at your picture for a while to let it sink in, I think a medium gray for the triple stripe and an orange in between would work if you want fairly high intensity dividing stripe. You can tone down orange saturation like SkinnyG's stripe if you want to. If you want a less intense 5 line stripe, how about doing a medium grey for the triple with white in between. I think that might be pretty sharp on your blue / grey two-tone.
