More inner fender seal questions
I am finally back to installing the 2 NOS fenders on my 66. I was able to staple the rubber seals to the metal without any issues. The floral staples worked great. If you lay them on an anvil and take the kink out of them, they become the correct width and look. Now I am working on the seals that staple to the tin angle pieces in the upper rear of the fender. Does anyone have some good pics of originals that show the length of rubber to use and also the correct way that they are stapled in? I am attempting to put this back together as close to original.

Re: More inner fender seal questions
I used the stainless staples and they give you a template when you buy the material.

Re: More inner fender seal questions
Thanks for the help. I still need a bracket for the right side. Any ideas?

Jim
Might want to order some of these clips also, they're the ones that attach the brackets to the fender. http://www.classicparts.com/1960-66-.../#.WLx5_JFHaf0 Rope |

What are floral staples? Where can they be purchased?

Re: More inner fender seal questions
Weather stripping from Brothers and the staples are stainless ones that Corvette resto places have. I bought these ones from Ecklers, they are more expensive but are the same size as the existing holes.
