need ideas for rear brake conversion 72 c-10
Im looking to lower my truck and thought this would be a good time to install disc brakes on the rear. any suggestions as to what kit to purchase?

Guy on the forum makes the brackets to run disc brakes..

Unless you want to see them thru fancy wheels. Leave them drums and spend the money elsewhere. Your drum emergency brake will become a parking brake with disc.
Not saying not to do it.

If I had it to do over I would have left it alone. It's not that great of a mod other than the look! If you have see through wheels. My truck is a driver and I can't tell one bit of difference in it stopping.
Does it look better, yea I guess! Is it worth $600.00 of looking better... NO.It's your truck though so do what makes you happy. Before: After:

Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs. |
