1962 Chevy C10
I'm a quadriplegic and I'm looking for someone that can build me a custom model 1962 Chevy c-10 fleet side. I know you would have to get a 1960 & 1966 models only to use the 1960 cab because of the curved windshield to fit on the 1966. I was wanting to get an LS3 motor drive train along with some Kreger style wheels. I have some other things in mind about the colors which can't be discussed about. And also how much would it cost for someone to do that for me?

Re: 1962 Chevy C10
well, just for the 2 truck models you will be looking at an easy $50-$80.
chevy truck model prices have been getting real stupid last couple yrs, not a cheap kid's hobby anymore. ClearlyScale has some nice LS3 engines, $20 up http://www.clearlyscale.com/product/...060-engine-set for everything plus paint, maybe rims and tires, you will be looking at an easy 100 clams just for the parts... which really is'nt that unusal, i got almost $200 into a replica of my crew, and right now i been gathering parts for a '64 or '66 crewcab longbox dually 4by, at $70 bucks already, still need one more kit and rims and tires. the paint i got for it was $17 (!) i expect to have around a buck and a half in material for it once done... |
