Crew Chief in need of new shoes

I just picked up the Crew Chief Blazer and want to upgrade the tires and wheels. I dont really want to buy another model kit to do this. I have looked on eBay and found some but couldn't handle the $30-$40 price tag. Anybody know where I can find some tires & wheels from the Deserter or something similar?

Re: Crew Chief in need of new shoes

if the dawgs dont pan out, these 2 guys are my main go to for tires for my junk...
BNL Resin
http://www.b-n-lresins.com/shoppingo...l-tires-tracks

or Scenes Unlimited
https://scenesunltd.com/collections/tires/truck

they both have nice tires at decent prices, though BNL's shipping is cheaper.
one thing about the Deserter tires (desert dogs) is they are actually from the HighJacker econoline 4x4 van....and it's in a 1/20 scale, your blaze is a 1/25. the 1/20 dogs look ok, it's the rims that throw it off, they look BIG on a 1/25, almost cartoony....without doing some sleeving to other rims, your basically stuck with the 1/20 wagon rims, have'nt seen practically nuthin in 1/20 truck rims
here's where the Deserter tires came from...instead of tooling up some proper 1/25 mudders, mpc cheaped out and just robbed these ones...

personally i prefer resin tires. waaay easier to up or downsize to practically any rim, opens up a lot more rim options...
