1984 C10 vent to the left of the Headlight switch
Hello,
I looked behind my dash and was surprised to see that the vent had no tubing or ducts behind it, it's simply a vent cover that can be opened or closed. It's a truck with AC but I can't find where any duct work would be. Am I crazy or is this just a empty vent...? Thanks in advance! Rob 1984 C10 |

It's supposed to be a formed plastic tube that runs from the center of the dash over to that vent.

Re: 1984 C10 vent to the left of the Headlight switch
On my 75, it is an odd varying shape plastic tube. Its the first thing you should see if you try to look up at the dash wiring. Sounds like a PO removed it while fixing a dash electrical problem. May have broke it while removing. PITA to remove until you figure it out. Can sometimes be found at salvage yards.
