I have a 72 with 35" tires.I am also 1 legged. My right leg was amputated.I have a 2 step, folding step stool.I can get in the truck, and reach down and grab the handle to pull it in to the blazer.I am not a big fan of steps that are mounted to the rockers.

2wdblazer.most of the ones i`ve been looking at mount on the back side of the rocker panel,on the inner rocker.
in your case having a blazer (i got one too)its a real pain to find a step, because of the rocker boxes. iwas going to put a set on my blazer but gave that up. thanks for you ideas guys. jamie

Yep they are pricey but ya don't hear of any problems with them from the ones that have them. Lots of the guys with the really big trucks run them.

these were on the truck when i bought it...they attach to the inner rockers and the frame. the p/o was a midget, seriously around 5' tall or less. he needed these. since i'm 6'4", i never really use em...but short passengers like em. sorry if this isnt what youre looking for. (for the record, i hate nerf bars too)
