springs
i can get some coil springs for my truck at work and i was going to get some big block springs out of an late 60s impala or whatever Gm fullsize i can find and i am running a small block in my truck so i know it will lift it a good amount but i was wondering if i did that what should i do for the rear springs, i am wanting the truck to sit up a little taller than it is so what are yalls suggestions

Why not use 3/4 ton springs?
Last time I was wandering around there, there were several 3/4s in the yard.

Yup, direct swap.
I would do the 3/4 ton springs in the front before messing with car springs. |

Springs
I have some new(less than 1000 miles) Variable rate half ton coil springs that are now in my 71 cheyenne. I put them in to be able to haul more weight. It indeed did. It rides terrible without a load and I am going to remove them. They cost $135 new about 1000 miles ago. It also raised the ride height in the back up about 2 inches and I hate that too. I don't know when I will ever have time to get them back out, but if I was offered something sensible, I could get the job done a lot faster!

not really right now, i was just asking quistions for future reference, the springs i can get at work are just there if i need them we have several of them
