I hope all of you folks had a great Easter. Wife and I had our family here and my son smoked a 15# Brisket. He and I were up most of the night taking turns watching the smoker. It turned out fantastic.... LockDoc

Re: Happy Easter
My daughter-in-law's aunt & uncle always (well, most years) put on a big easter egg hunt. This year all the kids had to pick a number and then look for the numbered eggs. They put out over 200 and each kid had to find 9 with their number. Lots of fun for kids of all ages!
That's a lot of cousins: My two grand kids, Kimbree & Brigg: I got a 3rd under construction. Due on her mom's birthday in October

Re: Happy Easter
Sorry I'm late to the thread. I got off call at 8AM today. Great pics everyone. Davepl - your post made me laugh and spit at the same time. When I was a kid, my parents had a GMC Sprint (I think?), the GMC version of an El Camino. I'm pretty sure we had one adult and 5 kids in there more than once. And I mean in the cab, I won't mention all the times we rode in the back of that thing (pretty much any time the weather was decent). Not the smartest vehicular choice for a family of 4!

Re: Happy Easter
This is the first year (in 11) that we haven't had at least the grand kids with us for our family Easter brunch. No sons, no grandkids. Bummed me out. We didn't even bother making up baskets for them.
My grand daughter called me up later in the afternoon to wish us Happy Easter, wished she could have been with us. But she was still excited to get her basket next time they come over. Ok honey we will save it for you =) Yikes, now what? Stopped at the dollar store today hoping they still had some Easter candy on the shelves. Whew, they did. Ill tell you what you can get a boat load of candy for 20 bucks there. Went to check out, everything was half price woohoo! Got out of there for just under 10 bucks. Now Im thinking I should go back tomorrow, just don't tell my honey about it and keep a largish stash in my shop haha.
