Engine decals - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Can some of you folks with correct decals under the hood show me some pictures of proper placement, what should be and shouldn't be there. I have one original left on the radiator support to the right, talks about timing. What is the one on the drivers side inner fender well? Also I think I know what goes on the front of the air cleaner, but not sure what goes on the left side rad support and I have actually seen one next to the rad cap on some. Also on the original 4 seasons air compressor I see some labels with the red across the bottom and some with blue. Were there any stickers or decals on the hood? From what I can tell there were none on the valve covers or top of the air cleaner, just the side?

Also one last question, If I remember right, mine had a long oil fill tube with the rubber OIL cap on top. I see some with some without. I have a 350/350 setup like stock..

To get you started, vehicle emissions sticker placed on top the LH inner fender.

My 72 has the coolant decal in the same spot. On the top of my head, one decal on top of the compressor & one decal on front of the air cleaner.

...the decal mentioned that goes on the front vertical surface of the (stock) air cleaner should say "Keep your Truck all GM"
As for the oil filler tube:
To my understanding, the tall oil filler tube mounted on the drivers side of the truck was typical on the trucks that came with air conditioning.
The reason was that the a/c brackets covered the regular oil fill point on the passenger side valve cover...so it was shifted to the drivers side on the a/c trucks.

Thanks Coley, and the back bracket does cover the oil fill on the passengers side, so that makes sense..
