HID lights? and LEDs fro rear

I didnt want to do it because I want to keep it as original as possible. School me on the front head lights and rear break lights. Is it really worth it ? Front head lights are fine for me but would like the brightest break lights I can get. Who offers a good kit?

Led tail lights if made right are brighter,Hids are good if you buy projector housings for them,But thats not cheap to do and the drop in hid kits with out a projector will blind others on the road.

My 76 GMC has brighter headlights than any of my modern cars. If I could convert my Acura or Jeep to old style spot lights I would.

Re: HID lights? and LEDs fro rear

One of the best headlight upgrades I have done was installing some Hella e-Code housings with a good H3 bulb. I get a lot of light and it has a sharp cut-off at the top so I'm not blinding oncoming drivers. Next upgrade is to run the headlights through a relay and upgrade from a 55/60 watt bulb to a 70/80 watt. Most of the HID retrofit kits that fit the H3/H4 style housings suck as they have the wrong focal point inside the housing and you don't get the cut-off at the top of the pattern. Those are the asshats that always look like their high beams are on.
