Factory bucket seats
I just got factory bucket seats for my truck and they need to be reupholstered just want to know what to take off and what stays on the seat frame

since it looks like you'll be needing new foam or repair, it pretty much all has to come off. First separate seat bottom from back. Snip the hog rings, peel the cover, or just cut them off to make it easier, then slowly remove the foams. Be careful to preserve any burlap, etc as it may be reused. You'll need a pile of new hog rings and a good set of hog ring pliers. Make sure to inspect the metal seat frames and the small metal rods for any breaks, etc as they provide the base support for the foam.
