accelerator swap on 70

I am trying to hook up the 71-72 style accelerator in my 70. I have the 250 with monojet. I have the pedal and inside parts. I need the cable and the bracket. I assume the bracket is different than the rod style. If anyone has a picture of one mounted it would help a bunch. Thanks

Re: accelerator swap on 70

Are you referring to the bracket on the carburetor?

Yes. The bracket near the carb. Not sure exactly where it mounts. I hope someone will post a picture.

Just took a look in our old saved file/pic archives and don't have any as you requested "mounted" pics, but we did have some shots of a cable style throttle setup removed from the truck. The below pictured parts were removed from a 71 C/10 250 I-6 four speed truck that was parted out some years back. Mel

Page 235 and 236 of the 72 service manual pdf show the diagrams of the setup.
