Deep Drop Bumper
Does anybody know if anyplace still makes chromed deep drop bumpers? I can't seem to find them for sale anywhere. New or used. But I see them on squarebodies and old Ford's pretty often. Everyone I ask says it came with the truck when they bought it. Or my other option would be to go with a chrome sport bumper and add a Reese hitch. Looking to replace my ranch tow bumper as I don't use it to pull big horse trailers and stuff like it used to. But I'd still like to be able to tow if I need to.

Re: Deep Drop Bumper
search "Ranch Hand" drop bumpers. FEY (Westin) used to have a universal 10" and 12" drop bumper but I haven't seen one for years.

Re: Deep Drop Bumper
I bought an 8" drop bumper from a local truck parts store. The only company we could find that still made drop bumpers was Reflexxion. I believe they recently quit making them, but you may still be able to find one somewhere. They make them in a 8 and 10 inch drop.

Re: Deep Drop Bumper
just talked to the owner of Reflexxion- they have discontinued them. I'd check stock before I bought one online branded as Reflexxion

Re: Deep Drop Bumper
Thanks for the suggestions guys. I'll check with some local parts stores and see if they still have any left in stock, or know somewhere that does. Too bad companies don't make some of the parts that they used to anymore, but I understand that they probably aren't very big sellers these days.

Re: Deep Drop Bumper
Was curious if anyone has had any luck finding a new drop bumper lately or a manufacturer that's making them? I remember a lot of trucks coming of the lot with them has to be some old stock someplace.

Re: Deep Drop Bumper
Found mine at the local Pull-a-part a couple years ago. $30. It did take several trips before I found a decent one. Many of them have seen rough lives.

Re: Deep Drop Bumper
No unfortunately I wasn't able to find one. I went with a sport bumper then added a Reese hitch. I still keep my eye out in case a nice one pops up. I did find one used but it was all beat up and the guy wanted $200 for it.
