Hello from Maine
As a new member, I just wanted to introduce myself. Up until recently, I've been more into muscle cars. I've had and sold a 68 Chevelle SS, which now belongs to my dad, and more recently a 72 Nova. I prefer vehicles from that era and my wife likes "old trucks". So I focused my search on 87 and earlier C10's. I searched near a year before stumbling onto my truck. It's a 1972 GMC C1500. Prior owner didn't know much about the build, he dropped it off at the shop and wrote a check. I spoke with the builder/restorer and got some details. It's in great shape and runs real well. It sat outside last winter, so it needs a little clean up and tuning, but I'm hoping to get out cruisin' soon. I've read many posts and appreciate the wealth of knowledge and skill that many of you bring to the forum.

Re: Hello from Maine
Welcome from Navarre, Florida. If you Dad now owns the 68 Chevelle then someday he should leave it to you or "not".

Re: Hello from Maine
Thanks for the welcome. He's got a nice collection of cars from that era. Of course, I'd rather have my dad around.
