I need a clip! (J nut)

[In The Ten Ring]

for my outer grill. At the top of the 1972 outer grill, there are two "J nuts" that allow the hood latch to bolt into. One of mine is missing, I suspect it was lost when the original owner had the truck painted.

My replacement J nut from Classic Industries doesn't quite line up and I don't want to cut away metal from the outer grill. Does anyone have an original they can send me? I'll pay.

If you have one, take it to the hardware store and find one in the hardware section with those little drawers of strange parts.
I went out to look at mine. Fond bees living under the hood--got stung. Chased `em off w/ carb cleaner and knocked their nest down. Didn't find any J-nuts so mine are long gone...
