My other '68
I traded some stuff this truck.
It's a 68 k20 4x4 with a 4 bolt 350, 4 speed w/ rockwell transfer case and 4.55:1 axles. It needs some love but the body is solid. I drove it home, about 100 miles. ...Because one money pit just ain't enough. |

be sure to check fluid levels. most people dont even know where to look for the filling points or what lube goes where
and with the rockwell it is critical because even when filled to the correct level it runs a bit low and there are vertually no spare parts for them anymore I have a white one just like yours. |

Re: My other '68
Don't scrap the Rockwell. All original parts are worth something to someone. Especially a transfer case that no replacement parts are available for. People used to scrap stock wheels and now they are paying good money to buy and ship cross country. People scrapped 6cyl/3spds and now people want them. There will always be stock restorations, even if that's not your thing. I have a friend who tossed a good steering wheel in the trash. I told him he's a fool

Nice looking truck! What are your plans for it? I have a thing for 68 K20s, even though I don't own one. Would sure like to!
