new to board
just wanted to say hello from georgia. i have have been looking in on the board for a while and i really like the info on here. I am currently restoring a 71 cheyenne and is currently getting paint i wll post some pics when i get it back. I really love these trucks, i guess it comes from the fact that my dad has had one since it was new in 72, i grew up with these trucks and i think that they are the best looking and best made ever. look forward to hearing from yall. rob

Welcome from the headwaters of the Midwest rust belt!!! Don't get too close...rust jumps!! My Dad bought a 67 spankin' new. Black with red interior..loved that truck so much I wouldn't let it get dusty. he made me quit washing it so much...said I was wearing the paint off..LOL! I was 15 then. Second vehicle I ever drove...oh yeah had a 283 with a 3 on the tree, and yes it would shift fast and leave 4 feet of rubber in second. Don't tell him....he still doesn't know!!

welcome from a northerner, hey class of 69 I won't tell your Dad about the rubber burnin you did with his truck, if you don't tell mine, the real reason I twisted the drive shaft off his 68, I gave him a cock and bull story about putting it in park to quick, I think he just played along with me, he was a good old boy, maybe this would make a good thread.
