. http://www.500cid.com/mts/info.htm You wont find headers for that app, but I beleieve these guys sell a Cad flange with short tubes welded in......then cut the flanges off a set of BB truck headers & crank up the welder. Good luck, crazyL

That's how it goes, get big block headers for the chassis, then the flange kit, then pay some one to weld it up, then, since you already have 400+ in them, you may as well go the extra mile and get them ceramic coated...
You wouldn't happen to have a passenger side manifold to sell off that caddy motor would you?

i dont have one off that motor but my friend has a 472(i think thats what it is) that he would probably sell the manifold off of.

If you would be so kind to look into that for me, I'd apreciate it.
I need one with good studs. Have the cash...looking to wheel and deal on this. I need it pretty bad.
Hook me up with a good price, and I can get you a finder's fee.

Oh, and it doesn't matter what car it came out of, any model will do for the passenger side.

the car is a 69 eldorado. if you figure out what the shipping would be from 67492 then you could just have it for whatever the shipping would be.

One thing I have found that i love as a swap part from a Caddy, if it is from the 60's to mid 70's, look at the rear view mirror. It is way better than anything ever installed on our trucks, and the mirror head will bolt directly onto our arm. (asuming you are not working on a 72 truck)
Other than that...nothing I can really think of.

The Eldo manifolds route the exhaust over the frame guys. for under chassis routing on exhaust , you need a set from a Fleetwood or a Deville......crazyL

Hey guys, I have been keeping this a secret because I was considering doing a 500 caddi engine in one of my trucks. My neighbor has a 78 Caddi with a 500ci. engine for sale for $800.00. The car only has 70,000 or 80,000 origanal miles on it and runs great!! This car has no rust and exelent interior also. You could take it cross country if you wanted. I can get more information on it if you like. I had to take the pictures from across the fence so they are not verry good. WES www.ClassicHeartbeat.com

It's kinda hard to tell from the picture but it looks like it might be a 75 or 76 Coupe.

BTW.....The passenger side manifold routing was the same for all 472/500 cars....even the Eldo. The drivers side was the one that was different. The one on the FWD had a funky turn-out dump.

Here's a picture of the three styles that were used.
The top one is the RWD drivers side. Middle is FWD/RWD passenger side. The bottom one is the FWD drivers side.

That's a nice one! my 72 has just under 32000 miles on it, and that one looks nicer! Just an interesting side note, the 472 with a good SINGLE exaust with a bigger tail pipe and a Flowmaster has no problems spanking 255/70/15 tires (yes, the do fit with the skirts) for about 2 blocks at a shot. i love my caddy....
