EFI Help/Costs

Hi All,

I'm considering adding an EFI system to my '77 SWB w/ a 350.

My mechanic is suggesting a FiTech system but I have also heard good things about the Holley Sniper kits...

Budget is my main concern, so I'm curious what this set up should cost me all said and done. (Parts & Labor)

I'm being quoted around $3,000 but wanted to get your feedback if you think thats fair, low, high, etc..

This would include the 400 hp Fitech, '87 SWB Gas Tank, and labor.

Let me know your thoughts!

Re: EFI Help/Costs

Here's a nice (FiTech) kit from Summit I've been eyeing.

Not sure what labor goes for in your area.

Re: EFI Help/Costs

How inexpensive do you want to go? If you are just going for reliability I've seen guys pulling the TBI stuff from the 87-95 trucks, suburbans, etc and bolting that on.

I don't know the details, but I do know it's an option. There's even a TBI intake for the vortec heads if you wanted to get a little more performance out of it.
