1980 Front Air dam

My 80 has a factory front air dam on is connect behind the core support not the bumper like later models. They do not reproduce these that I see.

Was this a "rare" option as I have never seen another 80 in person or on the net with one. I'm thinking maybe they were common and everybody has removed them thru the years.

I guess I will put it on eBAY I'm taking it off this winter I will be having suspension parts A frames and other things chromed so will be removing it to show the plating off as it hides those parts from the front.

I heard it gets real hot in Texas!!
The air dam has a function you might not want to lose.
It helps keep your motor from overheating.

Don't sell it or give it away. You'll likely need it in the future.

Re: 1980 Front Air dam

My plane jane 80 stepper came with one. I ended up taking it off after I lowered it.

Re: 1980 Front Air dam

If you want to sell it, do a search. There was somebody looking for one of these in about 6 months ago on the forum.
