Re: 65 GMC B series
Sure is nice.
If the GVW is actually right at 26,000 then it will just be under CDL.

Re: 65 GMC B series
Very nice~ I'm guessing it's a former fire truck that was upfitted to haul grain. I should check around to see if I could find work with it during harvest time. Just keep 'er purrin' and looking good for that and take to shows.

Re: 65 GMC B series
Old fire apparatus for sure. Non-stock running boards, extended 'B' pillars. Probably had an open-back cab, someone fabbed up a back to it. I'll bet it has at least a 401 in it.

Re: 65 GMC B series
478! I wondered about the cab back. Their tops are same as C-model, right? I thought it looked like just what you are saying, but don't see enough to recall and didn't go looking. The diamond plate running boards are a give-away, plus spot lamp, red paint, and in such clean condition. It ould be a nice one to buy, no matter what configuration you are after.

Re: 65 GMC B series
Interesting Exhaust Pipes too.
Wonder how it sounds that way. May be too restrictive though. V-6's like to breathe, lol.
