WTB Neutral Safety Switch Terminal End Manual Trans
I’m looking for the terminal end for my neutral safety switch on my ‘77 Chevy. The PO just butt connected the wires to by-pass the faulty switch.
The wires going to it are purple and purple with a white tracer. I had another harness saved from a’78 with four speed but somebody did the same thing! I couldn’t believe it, so I need the terminal end that the two purple wires go into or that terminal end with the wires in it so I can just solder it on to the existing wires. I’m not sure if anybody can help but I sure would appreciate any. Please see the pictures for reference Thanks. |

I have one $22 shipped. Most of the time these are bypassed just like yours.

Do you have a part number for the switch you have pictured? I need something to put on my 78 that I have converted to a manual trans.

Re: WTB Neutral Safety Switch Terminal End Manual Trans
So for anyone else who might be looking looks like the 336248 was replaced with 14013141 which was replaced with 14074333. All are discontinued.
Other options: Standard motor products NS12 -discontinued AC Delco D2211A -discontinued. I did go ahead an get the bolt off eBay though. There are some switches out there but man they are pricey imo. You can get an 85+ one for like $11 but most of these are $40 or more. Guess I'll have to bite the bullet on one eventually.

Re: WTB Neutral Safety Switch Terminal End Manual Trans
If anyone finds this later I got a switch an installed it today. The pigtail off the neutral safety switch from the column fit this switch perfectly. The wires were even long enough to reach it without modifying them.
