New member with a question.
I searched all through the website and google and what not and haven't been able to come up with a solid answer. I have a 65 C20 that is currently 4 wheel power drums. I bought spindles and calipers from a 77 3/4 ton yesterday to do a disc brake swap on the front.
My question is: Will I be able to use the stock brake booster when I do the disc conversion? I know I need a prop valve for the disc/drum combo and I plan on replacing the booster with a new one and switching to a dual reservoir master cylinder. If I'm not able to use the factory booster, does anybody know where I can buy a booster/master cyl/prop valve combo that will work? Preferably one that will go right in? Or a bracket kit? Thanks in advance for any advice/input. |
