67-68 hood question

Why don't you just louver the hood and leave the lettering. Everyone I see with louvered hoods always shave the lettering. Never seen one with.. Be different.. Then again, I'll never see truck unless you post pics. LOL...

I don't believe the 67 GMC has any letters on it. The 68 has less letter holes than the Chevy does.

That is true. If you're looking for a blank hood to start with, the '67 GMC's had no lettering on the hood. The GMC was in the grill and then moved to the hood in '68.

It was done when I got the truck. All I know about it is that it was done in the Phoenix, AZ area in the early 80's. Whoever did it did an excellent job on it.....

I have a 67 k20 that does not have the lettering
Other than it started life as a fire truck I do not know
Much history on it
Planning to put them on in future
