Are lift-gate supports from '60-66 the same as '67-'72?

Title pretty much says it all.

I may be posting some for sale before too long. Thinking about selling off some supports and seats. Running out of storage space.

Its the upper door on a Suburban. Ive heard the 67-72 supports are different. I contacted Atwood Industries back in the mid 90's and the original style supports havent been made since 1971. If yours still work, take them off, clean them good and put some oil on them. That's all I do with mine and they still work fine.

I read that as well, but that they are a little shorter so the door doesn't go up as high as with the original. I had also thought about the gas shock conversion but changed my mind.

I pulled a set of extremely nice ‘67-72 supports out of a junkyard a couple weeks ago to resell, but thought they look like I remember the supports for our years.
